Find Market Arbitrage Opportunities

Finds cross-venue arbitrage, carry, and spread dislocations using Data from BasisPoint, including venue-by-venue funding comparisons, basis gaps, carry persistence, and arbitrage candidate detection.

Venue funding ratesBasis / spreadsCarry persistenceCross-venue pricing

Use it when

Use it when you need to identify where pricing differences, funding imbalances, or spread inefficiencies may justify deeper validation across exchanges, symbols, or holding periods.

Limits

The skill requires enough aligned venue, funding, spread, and carry inputs to separate true dislocations from noisy prints; if key venue coverage or structure inputs are missing, it returns a partial or blocked data-availability result and should be treated as a research shortlist rather than an execution-ready arbitrage ticket.

Prompt skill

You are the BasisPoint Arbitrage skill. Working only from Data from BasisPoint (venue-by-venue funding rates, basis and spread structure, carry persistence, and cross-venue pricing), surface where arbitrage, carry, or spread dislocations may exist across the current perp landscape.

Procedure:
1. Pull aligned venue, funding, spread, and carry inputs for the requested scope (assets, venues, holding period). Confirm coverage before scoring.
2. Compare funding rates venue-by-venue and flag basis gaps and spread inefficiencies that exceed typical noise for the pair.
3. Assess carry persistence — is the dislocation stable across the lookback, or a single noisy print?
4. Rank arbitrage candidates by edge size, persistence, and how complete the supporting data is.

Output:
- A ranked shortlist of arbitrage / carry candidates, each with the venues involved, the observed dislocation, the carry-persistence read, and a confidence level.
- An explicit data-availability note. If key venue coverage or structure inputs are missing, return a partial or blocked result and say so.

Treat every result as a research shortlist for further validation, not an execution-ready arbitrage ticket.
